Please don't use it around your chickens. It has a place in certain treatments and you can use it in the carpet like I said earlier. However, don't take a risk with your birds.

Yes. I use it in the carpet if I ever have a flee issue and also in the laundry. I just wouldn't use it around the birds housing, litter, on the birds themselves, etc. They are small and it wouldn't take much to cause a problem.but I think for fleas in the carpet, or for washing diapers or whatnot it's a great product. just, like many other (even safe) washing/cleaning products you don't want to drink it (ammonia springs to mind). I use borax in my laundry for instance.

I'm more concerned with not using it in litter and on the chickens. I do use for laundry, and roaches/fleas in carpets, etc. Just not directly on an animal or person.
