My dogs are sound asleep too... And it must not be too cold because even the 4 month old puppy is right out in the middle of the pasture on a hill instead of in the barn. He simply wouldn't think of leaving his sheep, even at his young age.
It's snowing hard and winds are high with wind chills well below zero. Such is the luxurious life of Maremma. As we approach the middle the night the coyotes and big cats will become active and the dogs will have a good excuse for exercising to keep warm the rest of the night. ;-)

Its not very cold here, went down to -9°C a few days ago. That's about it. And yes, I am in Canada.
I have been miserable and complaining to anyone who would listen about our 20ish f overnight temps not sure what that is in c bc/ google is trying to make me do math and iM' to tired.

Oh...and I'd feed those kiddos whatever they would eat. I've been putting out way more BOSS than normal in the litter and even mixed in with their feed. In addition to the sprouts from the sprout bag.

I can tell they are more hungry in the cold and they eat more of their feed most days even with the addition of the other seed.
