Hi I am julie. Glad I found this thread looking to raise my chickens more naturally.

This is the heating pad I'm using. Last spring these were on sale for $9.99 each. Normally around $30.00.

A smaller heating pad is used on top for a few days. In this picture they're a few days old.

They are 11 days old now, and hardly using their cave at all now.

when my first chicks hatched, I thought they looked like this. I couldnt get the picture out of my mind , so I went and found it.
