Pretty sure a good % of us will cull a bird that needs culling.

Delisha, that link about the virus was heartbreaking and very eye opening. I've always had a pair of chicken shoes that are only for the coop. When I go to the feed store, I wear a different pair. My DH doesn't do the same, but he's rarely out there. I grew up with horses and I always had barn shoes.

In my province it is required to vaccinate against ILT to show your birds. So all mine are vaccinated for ILT.

It is a terrifying disease with a very high mortality rate. I'd rather not vaccinate and just practice proper biosecurity, but I LOVE showing, and will continue to do so.

I was going to say something earlier, but was afraid of everyone attacking me for it.
