I'm not sure... her comb really hasn't started to develop or redden that much, and the roos haven't been interested... but perhaps a bath wouldn't hurt just to be sure. She feels very empty back there, so if it's egg binding, it would have to be way up in there and not knocking at the door, so to speak.
All the other chickens are perfectly healthy - even Lady Silvia Runnybutt...

Question for you folks -
I seem to have a sick Lavender Orptington. I thought it was a crop issue, but now I think her crop may be completely empty - it feels like neck bones when I fee the front and I can feel all the way around.
No respiratory issues. Eyes are clear.
But - she's hunched up, lethargic and not eating.
No bad smell on her breath. no sign of external parasites. Has been fed FF and free ranging daily.
I'm at a loss - she's been this way for a few days now... but aside from acting off, there are no notable physical symptoms.
Thoughts??
Oh - and since having her quarantined, I haven't seen her poop - - that can't be good!

Or are they red worms? Those are a little thinner at least (I resemble the night crawler, not the redworm)
Anyway, with the little ones and no mom, I'd cut them into very small pieces and let them try them. Or...you could just cheat like I do and thaw out some ground meat and just give them tiny pieces. It doesn't take long until they'll start playing "keep away" like the adults do! Chick football! After they start that, they'll tear those worms apart all by themselves!
Here's a photo of one of my babies trying to eat a "mom size" piece of liver...(I had cut some tiny ones for the baby, but not this kid...it was going for the whole 9 yards...) I finally had to take it out of his mouth because he was determined to eat that thing come h3ll or high water!
