How do you cook yours?



From what I understand they have to be raw to have the worming effect.

yes they are tough. Not too tough to eat, but you need to cut the dark meat off the bone to eat it if you know what I mean. It doesn't tear well with teeth. I did the brine thing with one and it helped a lot. Dual purpose skinny boys who build up leg muscles.I need to remember to brine them all. Like you said the breast meat is incredible.
It's nice to hear it's just not mine. I was wondering if it was something I did wrong in processing. Think I can brine just the thighs and tough parts?

I know exactly what you mean about the dark meat.

Need to know more about this buttermilk brining..

Seems like regular brining would add a whole lot of salt, and family members in our household can not eat a whole lot of sodium, so I'm curious..
