The Natural Chicken Keeping thread - OTs welcome!

this thread is just hard to keep up with ....all the randomness to it. Example this morning. 6 pages to go through. Starts out chickens.... turns...I don't know...... bored..... off topic.... stop reading.... skim.... see if I see a question....nope....ok..... look for my name...... ugggg. It will e the same way tonight. 6 to 10 pages of randomness. About 5 real chicken related posts will be there...the rest will be random ramblings. So I skim and look to see if any one asks me anything.
Maybe it's a guy thing... I don't know.
Amen, not just a guy thing. Stonykill, you have posted some great info and I love the new thread about chickens from a business/marketing perspective. Hope you write some more there. I haven't posted here but follow since I was a huge fan of the other threads that are now locked. Wonder how many random vs. chicken wisdom posts are here. Plus at first it kinda seemed like this thread was created to be a source of chicken wisdom for someone's blog. I miss the Gnarly Bunch and OT threads.

Who is handing out all the stir sticks?

I will be out taking pictures today.what a nice sunny day..i is cold, but it is finally above 0...ready to do a happy dance.

Thanks for all the show tips. It is really great having positive input for a large part of chicken raising.

Great information and tips given for nutrition, show prep, and cockerel training guys.

Aoxa, I am so sorry to hear about Carlton :(

Someone mentioned wood ash bins for wild birds, the sparrows here dust bathe in the run with the big girls. Sometimes my girls chase them out, sometimes they ignore them.
