Lovin'' the pictures aoxa. Thank you for sharing.

Delisha - thanks for the added pic's. I'm not usually so dense but it makes me want to reinforce my idea to put up a covering for protection from the elements but not enclosed. It does get windy here though. I see you still have a little snow. lol. We got 3 or so in of fluffy stuff last night but could be getting a big storm by next week end. March is usually our big snow time.

Have a great day, everyone.

OK I went and took more pictures..i hope this helps to clarify Open run..attached to back flight enclosed pen back flight pen Back flight pen with run to south enclosure (that little box with snow on it in top center) All thought this pen has a cover on top ....snow and rain does get in it..it is still open. I have a piece of wood braced against the fence to keep direct snow and rain from getting into the the nest box. These are sun panels and let in late sun..they are on the west side of the coop south flight pen with coopalo It is partially roofed with shingles and completely enclosed with hard wire. The poop door is on this side. Hard to see in this picture but the entrance to the back enclosure is at the center bottom, on the other side of the door.
:thumbsup but your making me very cold just looking at these pictures

It is -3 today but very sunny and beautiful...next week is going to be 40 all week they say..Our snow should be gone by the end of the week with those temps. Than usually on Easter we get a huge amount of snow. When the kids were little we used to have the Easter egg hunt in the snow banks..the leaking dye was usually a clue to where they were hid. The birds loved to play too. The dogs also..they love boiled eggs.
