I don't know.. They have turkey eyes.. I need some more close up pictures of their faces. They just don't look like chickens to me. Am I crazy?!

i don't think they are turkeys, i cant see the telltale bump. they aren't ducks, and i don't think they are guineas. but i honestly cant say the breed either. I've been watching this close to see what everyone says

I was thinking maybe peafowl.. but I am not sure...

Definitely not guineas. Second picture with the one looking directly at the camer does remind me of a turkey, but not 100%. It's like they're a mix of all the different fowl! Lol! Grow them out! I want to see how the mystery ends!! And thanks everyone who has chipped in on the wing feather vs tail sexing on chicks. I'm really hoping the wings win out on this one. I was so happy with this hatch's ratio!

I'm stumped to - the beaks look a little different to me, but not the eyes so much.

Any guess to who this is either? I originally was hoping swedish flower hen, but ....she has pink legs, a crest, she is very very fluffy, and right now a weird ruff of back feathers sticking up thru her wings. Here's another pic:

They look like peafowl to me. Wouldn't that be a neat surprise?!

I find peafowl chicks look like turkey poults without the snood.

i didn't notice that in the pic, it could be the turkey bump or a rosecomb. dunea churks? (DUck guiNEA CHickens tURKeys)

i have never raised peafowl, that could explain my confusion.
