goats are so cute. I've only interacted with them really since I've been an adult one time and that was at the state fair. It was through the fence, they would come up to me and I'd talk to them and watch them eat stuff/trash people had thrown into their pen. Cute little things, for sure
Hey there LM, My sister uses the pine pellets in her coop with a wood floor. They actually break down quite nicely. She cleans her coop out about every 3 months and throws the spent litter into the run. It's like walking on a comfy mattress but not too soft. I'm going to start using them in mine just under the roosts for a trial run.Thanks, Redridge.
It sounds like they may not work for places where the floor isn't dirt from your description since they need the moisture from the ground. Am I right?
