I have had one of those days..last night I found rabbit kits ,in the wire part, put it in the nest area she went on to have 7 seems mom seems to be doing a good job..then a dead silky 14 weeks old I just chaulked it up to it happens..suspected some Pekins who shoved their way in the bantam coop and run trying to sleep with them, today the 2 ducks killed a Columbian Wyandotte rooster while they where all roaming ( of course it was the nice Roo luckily I have a backup a horrible little turd that I have threatened to cull)....ducks are either freezer bound or going to be given away moved them to the meatie pen..

bantam...pretty sure hubby put them in a big fenced area 3 days ago that all my chickens use as extra run...

I will check it out. Skin So Soft had such a strong fragrance back in the 70's - I couldn't use it. but maybe they have updated it? Am looking it up now! thanks for posting about it. Anything deet free has to be a plus. I do have a great essential oil combo bug dope, but it isn't so effective at repelling ticks. (just checked on the girls, didn't touch ANYTHING and came back with 8 ticks. at least, 8 that I found.....

I know which one you mean, it's not really the same product, and the fragrance is much better and does not get stronger after you put it on. I use the aerosol
because i think the fragrance is lighter....owww, it's the that i found that worries me.
