oops.. Well Jo does just fine, then again she always goes broody the whole winter so she never goes outside. I cant break her of this!! I dont want chicks in the middle of winter, but if i can get her to stay for another month im setting under her for the hatchalong.
i wanted to raise seramas too to sell their eggs, plan B- polish!!

OK, between shipped chicks, hatched chicks & chicks picked up from Meyer's by a friend my brooder will soon have about 60 babies running around it. Assorted pullets, BB White Poults, red & black broilers, CX, Quail, & Rainbow babies I hatched. I have 2 bators still going with Rainbow Layers, orps, wyandottes & brahmas to hatch within a week. I have another 18 eggs that shipped yesterday & picking up more Rainbows tomorrow plus quail eggs from 2 different friends. Bator 3 will be back up & running tomorrow to set Thursday.

You've got them coming from all directions. lol I'm dusting off the cooler-bator and setting 12 Barred Rock, 5 Blue laced Red Wyandotte, 6 Olive Egger, 7 EE and 1 little pure Lav Ameraucana pullet egg today.

Yup, now I just need to get out the nail polish & start marking heads so I can keep them all straight.
