Hello Kelly,

May I ask how much you've spent total on the materials? I'm also designing a chicken coop now, and so far, we've got a 8x8x8 planned, and the cost so far we've figured is around $700. What are the other people's experiences on price?

I haven't been keeping track. Been paying as I go. Probably around $500 so far. We already have the siding, so I don't need to get that.

We originally figured $1,000 for everything, including the runs.

Hubby and I got the tar paper, trim boards, pop doors and the first course of siding done today. Too tired for pics, I will post them after tomorrow's work.
