Thanks. My husband is directing me as I've never built a thing in my life! But he's making me do the work.

I'll be a happy camper when it's finished! Then I'll be incubating again!

Alright, a bit more done.

On Monday, I got the East side siding up. It just needs the top course cut and put up. You'll have to take my word for it, as my picture won't upload.

And today I didn't have much time to work on it, but I got the trim done on the front. I did a MUCH better job at angles today!

(patting myself on the back) It's now all set to start on the siding tomorrow.

And I'm pretty darn good with the cement siding cutters if I do say so myself!

What a fantastic job you've done on this beautiful coop!!! The title of your thread, 'The Never Ending Coop' really made me laugh bc that's JUST how I've been feeling!!!!!!!!!! We started with an ancient old shed built from oak barn boards, thinking, oh it would be cheaper/easier/faster/simpler ...did I mention cheaper (?), but it's been a major pain in the rear , just like you said!!! It's taken weeks of both me and my fiance working on it, not to mention the temps have zipped up to 100 degrees. Chicks growing leaps and bounds daily, and it took forever to get it ready for them!!! I have some idea what you went through, and I commend you wholeheartedly. IT'S GORGEOUS!!!!! When mine is done, I'll post a thread too....you gave me hope! You really did! lol

That looks AWESOME!!! You've done a terrific job!!! What I wouldn't give to have that framing nailer you got. Sure makes things easier!!

You deserve a big huge pat on the back for a job well done!!!

your coop is going to be fantastic!!! It's so well built!!! I've finally roped my husband into helping me with my new coop after me watched me struggle with my first (it was the first structure I had ever built and I was thinking it up as I went)-now he can't build worth a diddly-squat...but 4 hands are much better than two (as well as the added strength)! You are very luck and so are your chickens!!!! Can't wait to see it finished!!! Good luck!...or should I say Good Cluck!
