Did someone win this auction?
Congratulations Sid Post! I got lost after all the other bidding going on with the other auctions!
Auction #2 - 7+ Isbar X hatching eggs. These are from 2 Isbar x Orpington hens laying varible green eggs (sometimes mint, sometimes gray, sometimes sage, sometimes khaki - they are very fickle) covered by a new line Isbar cockerel. The offspring should lay green eggs, but as I don't know the genetics that the new line Isbars are carrying yet, I cannot guarantee it. I do know the hens are excellent layers. I also have an Isbar x Swedish Flower Hen covered by an Isbar cockerel. She lays brown eggs, but is also an excellent layer and the offspring may lay green eggs.
These are super cool!!! I really don't have room for another project and I'm afraid they wouldn't survive the KC PO.I have a BUY IT NOW sale that can go in the mail tomorrow morning as soon as I receive payment. $45 total includes shipping. 6+ eggs from my project Silkied Lavender Ameraucana pen. I have 5 eggs from yesterday and will include todays eggs as well. I have a Silkied Lavender Ameraucana roo over Silkied Black/ split for Lav Ameraucana girls. All chicks hatched will be Silkied feathered Lavender or Silkied feathered Black split for Lavender. At this point these birds are considered Easter Eggers as Silkied feathering is not an accepted feather type in Ameraucanas and Lavender is not an accepted color for the breed either. If you are not familiar with the project these birds come from pure breed Ameraucanas that had a spontaneous feather mutation-no Silkies involved with this project whatsoever. You can read more about the project here https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/827543/silkied-ameraucana-project Anyone interested in joining the project will have a great start with these eggs!!! Or maybe you just want a couple of wickedly cool birds hanging around your placeEggs are very fresh and fertility here is excellent
