Lark Rise, that mixed egg auction is making it very difficult not to try hatching out some chicks this year. It is my first year with chickens at all, but these auctions are addicting to watch!

Can't believe I missed Jeans AMs again. Gotta come in more often. Maybe I can actually get some pullets out of her eggs. I think out of 8 lavender chicks I might be looking at 6 little roos. Just need to wait and figure out which one I'm keeping. I think I have to wait one more gen before my bantams give me enough chocolates to work with, but I'm a LF girl, sooooo. Hopefully I won't be broke next time they're up.

BTW, stalking for last minute auctions is a rush. Can't deny those to us
