The NEW Crazy 24hr AUCTION thread

I have been trying to watch this auction and help my husband work at the same time, then 1 minute before the auction ends someone comes in and bids, someone who has never bid in 48 hrs. KNOWING there is no way you can get a bid in. Pretty shady and crappy to me. Every chicken person I have met up till now have been pretty straight forward.

Sorry, it does happen sometimes; but is not typical. Have seen a few bidders war it out until the last minute and then some. Auctioneer had to call the winner.

Hopefully these eggs you wanted will be offered again. You can also connect with seller for purchasing on the side. Up to the seller of course.

Good grief. Last minute bidding is half the fun of this thread. If certain eggs are really important to you, I suggest you avoid "nickel and dime" bidding, and put in a bid that will stand up to the competition. PMing the person selling the eggs is also a viable option. Just having eggs available from the PRESIDENT of the Ameraucana Club, from a project CHOCOLATE pen, makes this bickering unworthy.

Dak got to admit it gets nerve racking! Lol!
I spend some time on ebay, and last minute bids are the name of the game, unless I have to have something, then I bid accordingly.

Phage is the queen of the snipers around here. All hail the Queen.

I usually set an alarm on my phone to remind me to get back on the computer about 5 minutes before the auction ends. Every auction I've ever done has people bidding at the last minute, it's part of the fun.

. People on this thread seem kinda cranky lately....
