I've got 6 sizzle eggs with dates of 7/4 and 7/5 up for auction. The bidding starts at $5 with shipping at $13.00. I would like to get these out as soon as possible. The auction will end tomorrow at 10pm. I will get more eggs tomorrow and will swap the new eggs for the ones dated 7/4 so I will send the freshest eggs I have. I take paypal only and please make payment at end of auction so I can get the eggs out asap.

My black hen went broody today so there may be an egg or two of hers but I can't guarantee it. I have a paint silkie hen in the pen so the buyer may get an egg or two of hers also. The others laying are shown below. All the hens are frizzled but 1 and she carries the frizzle gene. They are covered by a paint silkie roo. He has very few spots.The partridge hen and splash pullet have been shown and won 1st in BV. I'm not sure if the splash is still laying but the roo is in the background.

How did you make her?

The girl in the bottom pic came from the paint sizzle hen and a grey silkie roo. So did the black hen. The black hen is the paint hens daughter. Each of my hens came from either the paint hen, blue hens or the black hen. I switch roos so the hens aren't related to the roo so their chicks can be just about color or combination. The partridge hen came from a blue hen and a calico roo. The splash came from a blue hen and a WC blue polish. She's the only one that the father wasn't a silkie. She came from a project to get a different look. I have another black pullet that also came from the polish roo but she isn't old enough to lay yet.

Well I have breese and fcbm . its been hot however so I've been leery of shipping. Let look at the temps this week....

Not for nothin' but its hot as you know what here and the bresse eggs (out of 8 that you sent) at day 5, seven of them are all showing movement and the air cells are beautiful. Just hatched out two of the silkies you sent. Out of the eight eggs I got, six were viable (the other two were scrambled, thank you USPS) and 5 made it to lockdown, but for some reason my humidity spiked out of control, and I could not get it down, so I would have had five silkies but I really need to find a way to regulate my humidity.

So, long story short, chiqitas eggs are awesome.

Yay!!! My daughter's favorite is a Faverolle from a hatchery mix. "Captain Nugget", because my DD's a funny funny girl, although we have no intention of eating her precious Nugget girl. I'll keep my eyes open!
