The NEW Crazy 24hr AUCTION thread

Nothing. I'm just sure my ineptitude is going to kill my beautiful babies... I've got 24 in there. I can't possibly wipe them ALL out, right? I've had nothing major happen. Three power outages (wildfires in our mountains), but we hooked up the generator right away each time.
I'm not going to answer that. You obviously haven't seen how many eggs I can get not to hatch at a single time. LOL It's be or something in this house and I haven't figured it out. I have chicks hatching all over under broodies. I have tried NOT to use broodies, but I suck, so the girls got important eggs this year. I'm sure you'll do fine. My eggs seem to hatch for other people, just not for me. LOL

Honestly, I'm sure some of these people I look up to probably don't have time to frequent my newbie questions in other sections (even though I avidly read TONS of threads), but I can glean some great information from the chatter here.  This is Nirvana for newbies who want to learn and buy from the best.

It's fairly simple for me to find the auctions.  I just scroll through and look for the photos!

Very well said. I'm a long time looker, new poster but this is the first thread I look for.

6 French Black Copper Marans! Bid start at $5 Shipping/packaging $15 Starts now and ends at 12pm July 17th Will ship Monday/Tuesdays only Feathered shanks and outter toe, copper around the neck, perfect green/purple sheen and beautiful body shape, so far heat tolerant. These are a mix of pullet eggs and eggs from my yearling hens. Some have just started laying about 2 weeks ago. They hatched in January and I can't believe they've started laying already! Egg color is beautiful and fertility has been tested and proven. If anyone is interested in trying them out? I hate to eat them, but no more hatching for me this year! I wrap each egg in bubble wrap and nestle them snugly and securely. I haven't had an egg break yet! Here is a pic of color next to some regular brown and a light brown egg.

They're BEA-UUUU-TEE-FULLL!!!! I think the "showgirl" breed name fits them quite well! I have 3 showgirl chicks I hatched from RIRJen's eggs and they're almost 2 weeks old. ADORABLE
