The NEW Crazy 24hr AUCTION thread

My incubators are full full full, so I will not be buying them, but I have bought them before from Juststruttin, not only were they shipped well but they hatched better than even my own chicks do. I only lost one chick that was shrink wrapped! Can you believe that? only 1! On shipped eggs! I also bought some CCL from her that didn't do quite as well, so I am guessing this breed ships extremely well. I recommend Juststruttins eggs to anyone, she really does a splendid job! Looking forward to mine growing up!

Were they pullet eggs by chance? I have found that I could hatch a rock if a pullet lays it

Seriously- shipped pullet eggs hatch great! The structure of the egg must be stronger and they seem to survive shipping stress better. The older the hen the more trouble eggs have when shipped.

Just my observation- don't everyone throw me a blanket party

I agree. I have observed the same thing. Younger birds result in eggs that ship much more successfully.

Quote: I'm so glad! Looking forward to them. Please pm me the tracking tomorrow. I'll have to watch it. The post office held them last time I got eggs, but didn't call me. I knew they should be in from the tracking so I went after them.

Hmmmm this is very interested you said that because I got shipped 19 SFH eggs and the pullet eggs are still in the incubator at lockdown and the 3 older hens eggs didn't make it to day 7, so weird!!

That would be a question for just strutting. Whatever it was it worked lol. But very interesting observation.

You should give her feedback since she has none yet. Click on her name and then click feedback. You need to provide a URL link where you bought her stuff from. I am expecting a package from her today!
I bought eggs from her here on this thread. She sent way more than the listing. Packing was great. Thanks to the football approach of our privately contracted carrier, many of them got broken, but that is not her fault at all. Excellent transaction, and I aim to buy more from her soon.
