A lot of us have exhibition birds. However, just because we have show quality birds, it will not guarantee that you will hatch show quality stock. They would most likely be at least breeder quality, but most people that exhibit birds hatch a considerable number in order to narrow selection down to the couple that they want to show.

Auction for 6+ SQ Splash Silkie eggs. Auction ends saturday at 10:00pm central time. They will ship on Monday. Starting bid is $15.00 and shipping is $13.00
Paypal only.

The roo is from Bobbi Porto stock and the hens are my line. The roo has been shown 3 times by me and he won 1st in BV twice and 2nd in BV once. I've shown one of the hens when she was a pullet and she got 1st in BV. The other hens where either breeding or molting at show times. There is one show I had dead battery issues and didn't get any pics.

Hmm. Now is a great time to hatch eggs too... Prices are down, the weather is great for shipping (not too hot, not too cold), and you will have pullets laying just in time for spring!
Hopefully this thread livens up again.

Buff Orpingtons, amercaunas, cochins...Japanese bantam, sebrights, australorps...
I have a huge list but the first three are birds I really want to have for SOP breeding. whichever breed I find first that I like the birds of those I will look further into. ive already searched a ton on orpingtons so I feel pretty dedicated to them. I really miss my BTW Japanese too...
