The NEW Crazy 24hr AUCTION thread

There will be another active auction in about 12 minutes.

My fault for the chatting! I started it with my post to RoboDuck.

SERAMA EGGS!

I'm an experienced egg shipper but I've never shipped bantam eggs before, let alone these tiny little Serama eggs, so this is a beta shipment. I want to see how many eggs I can pack in the little #4 priority box and how much the postage will be. I've received a lot of quail eggs in these, and it should work. The advantage is lower shipping cost!

This is how I pack regular chicken eggs: http://agricommunity.com/packing-eggs-to-ship/ So this will be the same on a smaller scale.

I started saving Serama eggs on the 9th, and I'm getting about 3 a day. What I'm going to do is start with the FRESHEST eggs and start packing backwards. I'll keep packing until I either run out of eggs or until I run out of room in the box.

About a third of the eggs are fathered by a very tiny, very fertile silkied boy. I have one booted pair, a frizzle rooster with 2 straight hens, and a frizzle hen with a straight rooster. The rest are straight feathers with clean or lightly feathered legs. See pics here: http://agricommunity.com/seramas/?p=5

Here's what I have as of yesterday (less one that I dropped and broke). They are all dated:

I will continue saving until Saturday morning, and then take them to the post office. You'll get plenty of fresh ones for the money.

It is noon Central time. Auction closes 6pm Central time tomorrow (Friday). I need payment as soon as possible after the auction ends so I can start packing for Saturday morning shipment.

Bidding starts at $10. This includes shipping!
