The NEW Crazy 24hr AUCTION thread

Thanks. It's a little confusing with the different auction threads and swap threads having different requirements. I read it to be 20 posts no matter how long a member but wanted wanted to be sure. Didn't want to "rock the boat."

I have 20 hatching eggs from assorted PROJECT, PROJECT, PROJECT pens!! That means these are PROJECTS.

I do not know if they will breed true as my oldest grow outs are just barely getting toward laying age. but, my hatcher broke so one my incubators got converted to hatch and i have less space for eggs. I don't have any need to eat them as I am inundated with eating eggs!!
Eggs will come from the following pens:
1) PROJECT columbian orpington pen: these are NOT pure English. they have american blood in them. i am hatching a variety of colors many of which are pictured below: columbian, buff columbine, a darker red columbian, and various colors that i can't name as I don't know what they would be called. you can also get pure Sacre white orps from this pen.
6 eggs
2) PROJECT spangled/mottled orpington:
I started this pen before the big "don't ever breed spangle to jubilee to produce spangle" started. As soon as it was clear that was not the best route, i switched to breeding spangle to black. i ALSO culled VERY hard on these keeping only about 10-15% of my first spangle and split to spangle. HOWEVER, i am still seeing some red leakage in some of these juveniles. i would say about 10%. I am also occasionally hatching lavender mottled as can be seen pictured below from this pen.
8 eggs
3)PROJECT blue split to mottled over mottled orpingtons:
There are a couple eggs. the pen has only been separated for one week. i don't have the space to risk hatching a "mutt" but you may. you MAY get lucky and get a pure blue spangled/mottled. the pen has a blue split to s/m over s/m hens.
2 eggs
4) Blue jubilee orpington PROJECT pen:
Same story, only a couple of eggs. pen has only been separated one week. it's a blue jubilee roo over jubilee hens. you are likely to hatch "orpington mutts" but you may get lucky. i don't even know if they are fertile.
2 eggs
5) Lavender Marans PROJECT pen:
black copper marans roo over lavender marans hens: This will give you black split to lavender which will be darker layers than the current hens. I have not fertility tested these yet. Roo has been in there for 2 weeks.
2 eggs
DISCLAIMER:
AS is CLEAR above these are my projects. PLEASE do not bid and hatch and try to sell these as ANYTHING. I strongly PREFER that someone who just wants cool looking orps to bid on and win this. You are likely to be the one who is quite happy with the purchase. IF you are thinking this will get you chicks that you can sell as PURE "this or that" please DO NOT bid!!! I can't stress this enough. Yes, i am someone who sells these projects when i have eggs i'm not using. Many don't like that i do this. But, i think they are great eggs and someone can have a lot of fun with them. I hope that makes sense. Granted, you can take these and run with them and end up with some cool pure birds after multiple generations of breeding and heavy culling. By bidding you formally agree that you will NOT sell or market these as anything until you have put in generations of effort to make them what they are supposed to be.

All pics of the birds below have been hatched from the above pens. i did not list pics of my lav marans. sorry, don't have them on hand. Of course, i have taken pictures of the birds i have KEPT. there were many more that were sold as CULLS from the day they hatched so there will be other colors than these
.

Beautiful. I am so tempted. I am already up to my neck in project and really don't need another one. I will sit on my hands. Somebody bid on these.
