AUCTION - 6+ Isabel and brown split to Isabel Leghorn hatching eggs



Bidding starts at $30 and includes shipping.



Auction ends Friday 3/20/2015 at 2:00 pm CST. Eggs will be collected 3/18 through 3/20 for shipping Saturday 3/21.



I have an Isabel Leghorn rooster covering one Isabel Leghorn hen and two Rose Comb Brown Leghorn hens. I think I can tell which eggs are from the pure Isabel Leghorn hen and will mark them. No guarantee I've marked eggs correctly though. The Isabel Leghorn hen will produce Isabel chicks. The RCBL hens will produce brown chicks that are split to isabel. Breed these brown split birds back to an isabel for 50% isabel and 50% brown split, or breed the brown splits to each other for 25% isabel, 25% brown, and 50% brown split to isabel. I'm not up to speed on comb genetics. I believe the rose comb will throw rose comb chicks but single comb could show in succeeding generations. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this.

planned on doing the same thing, ive got some eggs ordered from backwoods poultry farm for isabel leghorns but if I can win these too, then great!
