OK...well .........I'm going to set everything I haven't sold yet, so I'll have a better idea. Our PO closes really early and is way across town, so will have to be what I get from the girls this weekend. I've been out back all day, so I have to get up enough energy to clean the Sportsman before I set, but I have over 100 eggs sitting here and what I sold didn't make a dent. Either no one is laying or they all lay like crazy.

Just to let everybody know - the eggs I got from Wolftracks are hatching now - two OE and 3 PEs out so far!

Also, one Black Ameraucana from Dak's eggs has also just joined us!

Edited to add - make that TWO Black Ams! .. and you don't want sticky in the back of the incubator with a bunch of other sticky chick pictures? awww... Ok, I will wait until they come out - still have more pips in there!

Edited to say now 3 AMs and the SPPR - and here's a picture!

Two light PE in front, three black Ams behind with an OE between them, another PE (black with white wing tips) and the tired SPPR chick who went back in the incubator for a bit.

My production had dropped a lot-- figured between loosing a few hens and a bunch (8)going broodie that accounted for the drop . Not the reason at all. THe girls decided to lay in a completely new place. DH found a pile yesterday and I found another location today. THey will have a wonderful breakfast tomorrow! Naughty girls. lol
