Awwwwww . . . .. that is disappointing.

Have you considered that turkeys just may not be in the cards for your farm??? I think I mentioned previously that Fowlman, one of the greatest breeders of chickens, cannot raise turkeys on his propery either. If one of the top APA people cannot do it, there is not shame in quitting turkeys.

WIth all the wild ones around here, so far so good.

But, I have 10! Two I hatched! I think this one was lonely and maybe not eating as it should have. I kept showing it the food and water...? Oh well. Next year! I will have my Sweetgrass!

I do not wash my eggs - how they are collected is how you receive them. I wrap each egg in bubble wrap and pack with bubble wrap, shavings, peanuts or shredded paper. Because of the ways of the PO system, I can not guarantee your hatch rates. While I do hope you hatch ever egg I send, we are all aware of the unforgiving treatment of the postal handlers.
