The NEW Crazy 24hr AUCTION thread

Not to mention most are kept in batteries, small little cages all the time. Fed GMO's, antibiotics and growth hormones. They don't get fresh greens and "natural" food at all. Some now claim "free range" and charge a premium but there are different degrees of "free range" and there's still the issue of what goes IN the birds and out the eggs. Some will even feed marigolds to "yellow" up the yolk. And then lets not talk about freshness...

marigolds are good for birds, not defending store bought. I'm the only one eating eggs and I get about 3 a day. You all need to buy Donna's BR good layers

My orp hens have been going thru a hard molt. Poor girls have bare spots. Well one started before the other and is now getting feathers but the other one looks like a porcupine. They are our eating eggs birds. The rest are silkie and sizzles and they are laying pretty good. "ve been selling mine on ebay because there was too much chatter here and they weren't selling. Now on ebay they are all selling. I have sizzle eggs up for auction now on ebay. I don't normally sell there but I'm desperate. My brother is in the hospital again. I think he inherited all oour mothers medical issues along with a few more. He had heart surgery a few years again for the 2nd time and he died twice in the operating room and now he's back with congestive heart failure along with anemia missing 1/3 of his blood mass. But they keep taking blood for tests. He wont' have any left before long. SOOO..I'm trying to raise the money to hop on a train to go up there. He's in northern Indiana and I'm in west Tennessee. It's a long train ride. I can't take the car because DH needs it to tansport the grandsons

Marie has awesome silkies and frizzles. Anytime someone comes to buy ameraucanas from me, they go right to the silkie pen and beg me to sell them the frizzles too. I had a really beautiful porcelain from her too, but a racoon got it. If you're in the market for silkies and something fun like sizzles, contact emvickrey.
