32 minutes left on this auctionI have 12 SQ Splash bearded silkie eggs for auction. Starting bid at $15 with shipping at $15. It ends tomorrow (monday) at 9pm central time.
The roo came from Bobbi Porto's stock and has won first and second in the shows I put him in. I also have shown a pullet that I got from hatching eggs from my splash pen that won in her first and only show so far. She got 1st place. My other hens I bought locally and don't know their lineage but they produced many SQ offspring.
Only one thing about the eggs. I was out of town and my neighbor took care of my chickens and she wrote the code that was on their doors. The splash are in the pen that the paints where in so some of the eggs have PA on them but I marked them out and I wrote SPL. I moved some birds around to make it easier for her to tend to them.
All my birds are NPIP and AI clean and certified.
I bubble wrap each egg and place them air cell up in an egg flat then put another flat on top and tape them together to keep the eggs secure. If I have an egg carton I will use that. I place a generous amount of shredded paper in the bottom of a 12x12x7 box and set the bundle corner to corner on the nest of paper then I stuff shredded paper around the bundle and on top so the egg bundle is setting snug in the box to prevent any shifting. I may use plastic grocery bags for packing material. Depends on how much shredded paper I have on hand. Either way the eggs will be snug in the box but not squished.
The white chicks in this pic are from the sizzle pen. The splash fostered their eggs this summer
