About Sulmtalers
Sulmtalers are a rare dual purpose Austrian breed
renowned for its extraordinary meat quality. I have found these birds to be a delight. They are a bit shy as first, but once you get them treat trained they become quite pesky and always under foot. I guess you could say they are fairly food driven, but unlike hybrid meat birds they are not consumption hogs.

I have been very happy with their egg production, shell quality and hatch ability. I have owned Sulmtalers for 2 years and have not had any go broody yet. I reduced my breeding flocks to 8 breeds, and the Sulmtalers were on the top of my list of one of the breeds to keep.

Here is your opportunity to acquire some Sulmtalers Hatching eggs for a fraction of the cost of purchasing chicks. If you search for Sulmtaler chicks you will find that they typically sell for $100 per chick straight-run.
how much do they weigh out to when fully grown? gorgeous birds btw. didn't realize they were crested until I saw the hens. 8)

If not sold sold by Monday these eggs will be going in our fridge and will be eaten.

Beautiful birds BTW. I just checked out your site and noticed that you've crossed the English with American to improve. Are the BBS eggs crossed with American orps, or just the lavenders? Thx
