Do you have to use PayPal? I won auction but when I said I do not use PayPal correspondence stopped. (Seller could also be busy and unable to respond)

Have the seller send you a Paypal invoice. Then you can pay via Paypal or credit card. Otherwise, it wouldn't really work for auctions. I saw one seller who says to send the money by mail and then she will send the eggs. That adds too many additional days on the age of eggs, IMO so isn't really a workable payment method for egg auctions.
