starting at $15.00 shipping $15.00 16 eggs.

Auction

Large fowl Orpingtons. 10+ eggs - I currently have 4 eggs from the Lavender/Black Orpington pen, 3 eggs from the Red Cuckoo over Splash, Chocolate, Red pen, 2 eggs from the White Orpington pen, and 1 egg from the Chocolate pen. I will try to have a full dozen eggs. The eggs were laid, Friday, Saturday, and today. Please read below for explanation of Orpington type.

24 hour auction and will end tomorrow 24 hours from posting. Please pay by paypal immediately after the auction to [email protected]. The eggs will be ready to go out in tomorrow's mail. I can add a 72 hour heat pack to anyone that wants one for an additional $3.00.

I bubble wrap each egg and double box. I can not guarantee your hatch, however I do check fertility at home and never ship eggs unless I am getting 75%+ fertility at home.

Start bid $30.00 and $15.00 shipping.

The Lavender rooster in the picture is with Lavender Orpington hens and Black Orpington hens. You will get Lavender and Black (split to lavender) chicks from this mating. My Orpingtons are a large percentage imported English. As some of you know I have lots of Orpingtons and have been breeding them for over 10 years. I love the English imports, however they have some serious faults such as not great layers, low fertility because of the huge amount of fluffy feathers, and they are not as hearty as our American Orpingtons. This pen represents what I hope is the best of both worlds. Fertility has been great here at home. The black orpington hens in this pen are very large and they are offspring from some of the first Orpingtons imported by Joy Atkins.

The Red Cuckoo rooster over the splash, red, and chocolate hens are all full English imports except for the two splash hen which have a small percentage of American blood. This pen will produce Red Cuckoo, Chocolate Cuckoo, and Blue Cuckoo chicks.

The Chocolate pen are full 100% English imported birds from three different breeders. There is one Mottled Chocolate in the pen but I do not think she is laying yet.

The White pen is also full 100% English imported birds from two different breeders. These birds are huge and beautiful.

Lockdown now from auction won here from @draye on his blue, barred and salmon NNs. Only a few with air cell damage from shipping. I think auction was for 10, 15 arrived so thank you @draye for the extras. 2 Salmon were clear but of the 15, 11 went into lock down.
1 dead at day 12ish, saw a bit of white stuff in there made me think bacterial.

I stopped turning day 16 as suggested doing shipped with damaged air cells and hatching upright. We'll see how that works out.
Day 21 is Thursday. I'll post when they're hatched!
(couple of my own silkie eggs for fertility testing)
