I know from experience that Papa Brooder and Bargain tend to be very punctual in replying. Hope that helps It can be very frustrating when you have found hens you want but can't find a good seller.

After contacting several breeders on BYC and not hearing from most of them, I had to resort to GOOGLE to find some hatching eggs.

Many chickens are not laying this time of year, and demand is not high, so owners tend to keep their flocks mixed.
Hence the lack of available purebred eggs.
