Think I have FINALLY gotten FI incubator staying steady and found accurate thermo..still working on psycho LG..they r sending me new top of unit..will see if it helps, but at least tthey r trying..temps ranging from 91 to 116 at this time,,with no adjustments..sooo,,watch out guys,,soon u will pay for the torture u have caused..wait..guess Iwill pay,,,lolol...
Location means alot too with stabilizing temp. I used to have my bators in my dining room either on the table or deep freeze. My hatch rates where worse than horrible. This year I decided to put them in the living room and I had very good hatch rates from my hovobator and extremely good from my brinsea.

I live in a basement house, so according to what I have read, I'm golden, lol. I did find out that u need to put the temp sensor directly under the digital ddisplay..the person I emailed from LG said that...would have been great info in the worthless directions, lol..anyway, that did seem to help on my FI as well..wish I had bought the hovabator tho, my brother just bought one and it stays really steady, straight from the box..I've read that the brinseas r awesome. I'm looking for a bigger capacity then the offer..if anyone has an old redwood one, PLMN

I have a Silkied Lavender Ameraucana roo over Silkied Lavender and Silkied Black split for Lavender Ameraucana girls. All chicks hatched will be Silkied feathered Lavender or Silkied feathered Black split for Lavender. Please know that technically these birds are considered Easter Eggers as Silkied feathering is not an accepted feather type in Ameraucanas and Lavender is not an accepted color for the breed either.

These are project birds that I have been working on for over 4 years now. If you are not familiar with the project these birds come from pure breed Ameraucanas that had a spontaneous feather mutation...no Silkies involved with this project whatsoever! You can read more about and get involved with the project here https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/827543/silkied-ameraucana-project

Egg color is improving and ranges from blue to bluish green to greenish
