Well, my DH thinks I have too many chickens....has thought that since I got the first four.

TJchickens --Picked up my eggs this morning from the PO. Love the little cup nests! It's been awhile since I had eggs shipped and I always enjoy seeing the creative ways people find to ship them. I have a hen who has been laying and since I didn't have a fertile male, I just left the eggs in there and she decided to start sitting this week. First time ever and I have had her for about 5 years so tonight I'm going to replace her eggs with these and let her do the work since I don't have much success with pea eggs in the incubator. Ill keep you updated.

I have much better success with putting pea eggs under a hen. How do the aircells look?

I will have to check them when I get them home. I picked them up on my way to work and don't have my flashlight with me :) Do you mean a pea hen or a chicken hen? I have used chickens in the past since she has never sat before but I don't have any broody chicken right now. First time that is a bad thing!
