Nice mix! And a great deal! Where are you located? Some folks like to consider the distance that the eggs will travel (and certain Post Office hubs)

Awesome auction! Thanks for posting

One thing I would suggest is not shipping eggs that are more than 3 (absolute max 4) days old at time of shipping as they are much more susceptible to shipping trauma (albumen becomes less firm) and lower hatch rate.

Of course If you make an agreement with your buyer that eggs may be older than that at time of shipping then that is different and good too.

Thanks for the tip! The oldest eggs in this shipment will be 7 days at the time of shipping, which I thought was the standard but from here on out I'll keep the 3-4 days in mind as the standard from here out. There are some eggs in the picture that would have been older, but they were removed and replaced from the carton this morning.

Awesome :thumbsup

There is no doubt that Older shipped eggs CAN hatch, it is just that overall hatchability decreases, but can be worth the risk if the "fun factor" is there or the price is right.

Also when starting out if you describe how you pack your eggs that often helps with sales. There are several threads on BYC with descriptions and you could refer to one of those or just describe what do :)

Sounds like a fun mix!! I'll bid $10.

Final count this evening is 45! It looks like shipping might be over $20 but not by much so let's call it $20.

I'm wrapping each egg in paper towel, then bubble wrap, and double boxing it with extra padding. Newest eggs are going in first but if I can't fit at least the promised 35 I'll go buy a bigger box.

Thanks y'all for bidding! Only 3hours and 43 minutes left to bid!
