do you have any predator problems? I see your muscovy likes to stick her head out of the fence... I'd be worried about raccoons sticking their grubby little hands in their and hurting your poor duckies...

No predator issues. Their pen is covered with chicken wire so no hawks and it is within another fenced in area (see in background) that has an electric wire running on the top so no predators during the day and at night they are locked up tight. The chicken coop is also within the larger fenced area and a tom turkey rules the roost and keep all comers away. So when the ducks stick their heads out it is just during the day and within another secure area.
I was going to ask about emptying their pool, but I see you answered it already. I was thinking of getting a trough like that from TSC too and putting it in the corner of our pen. We have chickens and just two ducks in the pen, hopefully the chickens won't fall in. Some of them are not the brightest, hah.
So adorable! I want to built my duck house just like this. What are the dimensions? How do you clean out the inside? I am a first timer with ducks. Thanks!

Hello, the dimensions are 3' x 5'. Internally on the left side are 2 nesting areas (about 1 ft wide x 1 1/2 ft. long) and rest of the inside is just room.
Each end of the house has a door with a lock (for anti-predator) to open and clean easily.
My hubby did a nice job. It's very easy to take care of.
