Hi Mark, it was great to finally meet you to and I told Lucy today that I met her "dad". LOL
Yes, I think the sales area was definitely in the way, and too bad there were not more birds to pick from, but I got what I wanted and would have gotten more if there were more to choose from! i loved all the OEGB's that I saw, picking colors was a hard choice! I also wish I had gotten one of the black bantam wyandotts I saw, they were cute too. I really need to stop buying and focus on putting an addition on the coop for next years birds! I am hoping to go to the congress, but will go alone so I can spend the day and not have the hubby rushing me as usual!

same here i was putting myself down on my polish there tails, i bathed them the night before and ohhh my god they were all cut up, i thought they would have DQ them both, lol but they got great on there cards, well of course mine were the only 2 lf open there, lol but still i thought they would just DQ them. lol

congrats to all of you showing birds! i wish i had gone but i slept later than i wanted to and figured i would have come back with waaaay more birds than i needed. i may just separate my fav/marans boy from the flock so he doesn't hurt any more girls till i can get him one of his own.

does anyone know whose bantam frizzle cochins were in the show? I'd love to buy some eggs from them in the spring... Or even just a few hens and a roo.

I had the black frizzle cochin bantam hen,. Those white were nice looking.

Those are beautiful silver pencils.

Here's the OEGB boy I picked up. What the heck am I going to do with ANOTHER boy??? I even had 3 family members to watch me and they all let me get him.

Oh Sweet, sometimes its better to have no competition and then they can just focus on your birds.
