No idea. Tom was doing chores and called me to come outside so I thought he was going to tell me someone died, LOL. He handed me that egg. Later, several were investigating the nests seriously, but I think it must have been Shelby since she was seriously sitting two days ago.

For a few days, you might need to put your game cam in the coop.

Haha, that one must have been Shelby's because this one is definitely Scarlett's! I saw her. This is smaller, but a richer color. Two new layers in one day, been a very long time since that happened around here.

If they look that good now, I can't wait until they get to laying good. The eggs are going to be even more beautiful.

First thing when I went into the barn today, Shelby was on the nest and got off and I found two little blue-green eggs. Could be Scarlett or another new layer. I ate all four this morning and I think that Shelby's was fertile, though you can't really see in the glare. Those shells were really tough!
