Hello everyone.

I live in Springfield Mo and grew up on a farm in Dora Mo. In the heart of the Ozarks. I am an avid fisherman, outdoorsman, and a current graduate student. I also own my own guideing business, Longboat Outfitters. I have a few friends that have urban hens here in town, too. Love that peole can raise their own eggs in their backyard. I do not have any, yet.

I joined the forum because I'm a fly tyier. I cannot buy feathers that I need to fish with at the moment, with the hackled jewlery and all. I'd also be interested in maybe some egg layers for my house in town.

If anyone reading this could point me in the right direction to find genetic fly tying chicken eggs or chicks that i could purchas that would be great.

I'm seaking birds with the longest possible saddle feathers. In any colors. The longer the feathers the more flys you can tie, or bigger flys.
