Dawn and Moses scrambled out of the car and looked around. After about a 15 minute drive, Lillian parked the car in front of the nice apartment building she resides in. She turned the car off and unbuckled.
Dawn followed, holding the leash tightly as they walked. She didn't want him to run off here.Lillian entered the building and went up a flight of stairs to the first floor. She stopped at room 40. She unlocked the door
Dawn nodded and thanked her before taking Moses with her in the room.Upon entering, Lillian dropped her bag and purse on the couch, then beckoned for Dawn to follow her. "Your room is right over here," she said as she went to a hall. "It's right next to mine. If you need anything, feel free to tell me. This apartment isn't large, so you should have no trouble finding what you need. Any questions?"
Moses snorted and sniffed the ground. He could smell cat. Dawn shushed him the second he began to growl. "Knock it off boy."Lillian went to her room. She changed her shirt, then went to find Minnie. The cat was hiding under the couch. Lillian grabbed her and plopped her on a chair in her bedroom. She closed the door.
Dawn opened the door. "Um, what about the dog?"Lillian went to the kitchen to figure out what to do for dinner. She hadn't gone grocery shopping this week yet, so there weren't many dinner options. She went to Dawn's door and knocked. "Hey Dawn. How'd you like to go out for dinner?"
