The new neighbour

Another up date my neibor got 6 chicks and 3 one year old Roadisland reds. Their building there coop about 10 feet away from mine. This kind of concerns me what if there chicks/hens have any thing. My girls freerange quite often. How will I keep them away from the others. They have flown over his fence before. They are on this site now too. I just want every one happy and healthy. Am I worrying about nothing? I don’t know. I am having fun helping them build the coop. As of now there using my small med coop for the 3 out side already.

The main concern would be biosecurity. Even if the flocks are kept completely separate being that close together likely means whatever your flock has, the neighbor's will too, and vice versa. Since your chickens have already gone over there and you've been on their property too, it's probably a moot point now.

If you still want to keep the flocks separate a fence is realistically the way to go. Otherwise you could just let them mingle, some people do have shared flocks, but then you'll need to decide how to divide up the eggs and cost of feed and that might just be a big hassle.
