Hello to you all A restless night meant I finally got to bed after 2am so now I'm really running late.

@Blooie you (I think it was you?) asked how Opie was doing. He's still coughing but not as frequently. The vet has to have his rx made up and we don't have it yet. Soon I hope and I sincerely hope it helps him out. He's just not up to his usual tricks right now.

@Madhouse Pullet that was a cool wall thing for indoor cats! DH built a catio for my guys. They climb up a tall tower in the bedroom, go out the cat door and can get into the catio for some sun & fun. Pip won't use it but the 2 boys (Opie and Bam Bam) love it. This is the only photo I can find of it, taken before it was 100% complete:

It's covered in hardware cloth so they are well protected in it (hc isn't just for chickens!).

Nice! It looks pretty big, too. I can see that being a great investment especially if they like being outside.

It is snowing now. 🌨Not to whine you all, I know you have all had more than your share of winter. But. This is east Texas! We had our share last year, and shouldn't have snow for another decade! The weather channel says we won't be above freezing for a week. So not fair...we get above 100 in the summer, so we are not supposed to have cold winters.
I filled the tub with water, just in case the water shuts off. (I have bottle water, but I like to flush.)
June, the 8 month old kitten, jumped in the tub. I had to blow dry her, which she hated. I just finished mopping the bathroom and bedroom floors. I let the water out of the tub, because she is cute, but not too intelligent. Waste of water.

Hi Janie, sorry you're getting snowy winter weather! That doesn't seem right for east TX. Poor June, but had to laugh a little at her unplanned bath

As soon as Keela saw Tam’s post on Facebook she called, hired her on the spot for more to sort pay, better benefits, two weeks of higher CNA2 training (paid while she trains) and two paid weeks while Tam catches her breath between jobs.

I've thought about switching banks but, I've been there for so long I dread it but it's not like I know anyone there anymore.

What do you owe the corporation? You are an account number to them. All of the employees you know have left and the new ones apparently don't care to provide quality service. Find a bank or Credit Union that fits your needs.

Do you figure spring starts when the calendar says or go by the weather?

Until they come up with regional calendars that know when spring ACTUALLY starts, I ignore the "first day of spring" note on calendars.

What happens if the groundhog dies? The NJ weather ground hog died yesterday.

They replace it with another one and don't tell anyone. I suppose if the groundhog actually starts getting it right more often than not you might assume the last one died.

I’d like to bring them a cookie but I’d probably get in trouble as they aren’t store bought.

Yeah, wouldn't want the kids to have healthy cookies that aren't full of preservatives and such.

Kendra reached a new milestone yesterday. She said her first bad word. She used it in the correct context too - it was in response to her being unable to untangle the charging cable for her iPad talker. I don’t think that word is on her talker.

Mom and Dad did hear her. They’re the ones who told me about it. Wouldn’t ya know…..for 10 years we’ve been trying to get her to talk. We get all flutterbusted when she actually says a whole sentence or at least puts two words into together and we proclaim it to the world. If she uses a word to ask for something, she gets it without hesitation. Now she’s added a new word to her vocabulary and how do we explain to her not to use it? Sheesh!!
