And it really gets under my skin that I spend way too much money on a new phone, that's obsolete before I get out of the store with it.

What makes a phone obsolete? Other than being 3G of course since that technology is being dropped. But 3G was around for many, many years. Just because the money grubbing phone manufacturers come out with a new model doesn't make the current, and many versions prior, unusable.

It's not funny but I kinda laughed when the warning issued said "hide in basement" because I dont know anyone with a basement around here.

I think basements in So Cal are almost as rare as hen's teeth! I definitely never saw one in the 23 years I lived there (starting at birth)

And tornadoes are NOT a thing in California!!!

You ever see a black squirrel with a red tail.

Maybe it saw all the people with colored hair and went to the beauty shop?

I already have..
She's has improved a little today but being a battery hen I know she won't fully recover. She's such a sweet natured little thing and enjoys her cuddles. I'm doing all I can to keep her comfortable. @speckledhen has been such a great help with helping me get through this

Good morning everyone! It’s a beautiful morning here in the valley of the sun. We have a breeze and it’s cool and crisp right now. The chicks are growing like weeds. This morning I went to dump coffee grounds in the compost pile and heard the rooster calling back to the others in the neighborhood. He’s still just a little guy so his voice is changing, but it was adorable. I’ve been working in the yard a lot and this weekend is no exception. Headed out to plant the apple tree now, it has to go into a grow bag until fall because it’s already too hot to transplant into the ground in full sun. 100 degrees is in our forecast for next week. I’m so far behind that catching up is likely impossible, but I hope you all are healthy and safe. Have a great weekend all!

They aren’t a thing, but they are possible from what I’ve read.
