Hi Marie, we're still unloading boxes but getting closer to being done with that.

This morning I took time off to pick blueberries. The people that lived here before us planted several bushes and they are full of delicious berries

Thats really fab having the blueberries already there. I hope muffins are coming up soon

Still sorting out my things here as that long awaited wardrobe arrived and I'm washing all to go inside it. It's been raining the last week so it's taking time as I don't have a dryer. But I found some nice things and a little medical gadget for the charity shop I aim to get more because this is for Ukraine. I'm hoping to collect bandages to add to that delivery which goes next week

Big question is, will Medicare pay? They don’t normally cover hearing loss. Just like all insurance, they don’t consider eyes, ears, and mouths as body parts. They’ll pay for a 90 year old man’s Viagra but not for a 20 year old’s hearing aids……go figger!

So much hate they dont cover hearing loss.

They will pay for anything, if your in prison. We just have to find an appropriate crime, for you to commit. I'm sure @bruceha2000 can come up with something.

I’ve heard that they see themselves and are attacking their image. You shouldn’t clean your windows so well

It may not be the technology but the cost. When Blooie posted what her loaner hearing aids were I looked them up with Google. They are 3 (3.5?) thousand PER EAR! That isn't exactly in most people's budget.


No one would notice the additional "stuff" on the floor here


Me? Why me?? I've never been anywhere near the inside of a prison, not even inside the concertina topped fence! Nor have I ever been arrested for anything. I think she would have to find someone with a criminal mind and past to help her land in jail.

3k/year would need to find a sugar-daddy/momma for that budget.

They roam around the East side of campus and then move across the road and into the City of Davis.

I took my car in for an oil change today. I was sitting in the lobby waiting and I heard a man scream. They found a rat snake under my hood. a very dead rat snake.

I would have screamed too! But poor snake, not a good place to hang out... should have tried a boot.
