The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

It's a going. A little overcast here, with storms predicted tonight and tomorrow. I'm hoping we don't get flooded again.
I'm sitting out here in the coop doing the roosters job..breaking up hen spats. They all want in two of the nests. They broke an egg fighting over the favorite box. Not that we are going to go hungry, but I hate cleaning up the mess. There are 24 laying and they have 11 nest boxes to choose from. 😏

That figures...11 nest boxes and they want the same 2 :gig Nice batch of eggs!

Good afternoon, folks, I worked myself to death today. I moved the coop, attached it to the swan enclosure, filled it with hay attached the run leveled everything. All the swans did was watch and do a little hanky panky every now and then. It was 62F and the water is about 35F I don't know how he could put his appendage in that cold water but didn't seem to bother him or her. They were dancing all around, wrapping their necks around each other. What a courtship dance to see. I'm so tired I can't hardly walk. Quite a bit of work for one person. :love:lau
