We had a 16 year old roll her truck after school yesterday. We were wondering why the buses were late. I was just getting ready to bring the kids back into the school when they showed up.

I'm sitting out here in the coop doing the roosters job..breaking up hen spats. They all want in two of the nests. They broke an egg fighting over the favorite box. Not that we are going to go hungry, but I hate cleaning up the mess. There are 24 laying and they have 11 nest boxes to choose from. 😏

Good morning, DMC. I hope the teen girl is ok?
I'll gladly share my eggs. I have more than 15 dozen now. I've given many times that away already. I guess I need to do some cooking.

Hi Janie. I assume so. The bus driver didn’t say otherwise. It was our nurse’s daughter.
I’m am still on the fence for getting chickens again, even though prices have come down.

I assume so. I think it was just a case of a teenage driver going too fast on very icy roads.

I was reading a thread here and somewhere TSC is selling chicks for $6 or $7 each. That is crazy.
