I've got a will and trust set up. Yep, I'm getting old. But have had it done since my husband was first diagnosed with Alzheimers. He's gone now, I had no problem becoming the owner of our home, now when I'm gone, our son and daughter in law that lives with me will get the house.Unfortunately, I didn't get anything. When she had her stroke, my dad had already been diagnosed with Alzheimers. They both went into a rehab/ nursing care facility.
I had medical power of attorney, but my older brother had power of attorney. He was not happy with my dad's diagnosis, and we had a bit of a row. My younger brother and his wife moved into the house, and she sold everything.
We've, thankfully, come a long ways since then, and we all get along, but my daughter and my niece have some hard feelings toward their uncle and his wife.
I used to be angry. My mother had promised me her China, glassware, and several pieces of furniture. But, looking back, I'm almost glad it's gone. We wouldn't have anywhere to keep most of it, now that we've downsized. Memories are enough.
I remember the case too, plus I had a pretty fancy closet for clothes. Little tiny hangers.I only ever had one Barbie. She came with a pink case. I loved that. I can still remember the smell of the case.
That's awesomeThis is a weird picture that I made as a joke for my granddaughter.
These are my Midge, or maybe Francie(?), and Barbie. The weird guy was something my daughter bought for a white elephant gift. My granddaughter fell in love with him, insisted on keeping him, and somehow he ended up at my house. Strange how I always end up with their junk..

I think that's just old age. Her face no longer matches the rest of her. She was one of the first dolls to have "bendy" legs.Nice!! It looks like the brunette has a face tan![]()
