Thanks. It’s right on a main highway which is not good, especially if children come along some day. The driveway is short. There will definitely have to be a fence put up. We are right along the same highway but there’s 1/2 a mile to get to our driveway.

She took excellent care of it while she lived there but nothing has been updated.

"Updated" means different things to different people. Nothing wrong with older cabinets and such if they are still in good shape for example. I'm not one for "updating" for the sake of updating.

Yes, mine are old. My husband and I painted them years ago. We've had to replace some very interesting hinges that were on there, they still need some care, one thing at a time with them I guess. I get those one at a time repairs less often now that he's gone. He was so good at fixing things.

You are right!
The yellow and green shag carpet and avocado green drapes need to go. The cabinets are old but in great condition.
