No - he's too old for that - never did make it to the LLWS. He had shoulder surgery this summer so will not be playing college 'fall ball'. Hopefully he will be rehabbed by next spring.

except I’m a little emotional this morning cause I was thinking of my mom and how she would’ve loved that snowy owl at Blue Hills yesterday plus I put on the playlist I made for her for the little service thing we did in Acadia. So yeah. I’m about to go walk or to the store or something though to prevent any wallowing.

that’s definitely true. And the playlist wasn’t helping even though it’s not (entirely) sad songs. It still reminded me of her cause it’s a lot of her favorites. So I turned it off and put something else on. But I’m still having trouble getting moving now cause I’m still stuck on this especially since the memory also sparked the regrets/guilt of not taking her to see the snowy owls on the beach that same winter just months before she passed. 
she loved the snowy owls and nature in general. Also stupid autocorrect just tried to change LOVED to LOVES. No, autocorrect, she’s gone. 
UGH. Maybe I need to go to the fair or something and distract myself but I can’t be spending the money. I could go to the store.
