Hopefully wellHi Sour, how did the dogs do? Sounds like you've earned some rest.
We dismantled several raised beds this morning because hubs doesn't plan to garden any longer. (We will see how long that lasts.) I'm inside relaxing now, he is out on his tractor doing whatever it is he is doing. Lol.Hi Janie. I’m pooped from more yard work, how are you today?

He does love it, but our last two summers have been brutal. He hates watering 2x a day. He says he isn't planting anything, not so much as a tomato plant, next season.I thought he enjoyed gardening, hope he hasn't given it up for good. You'll miss the fresh veggies!
That brings up memories of every year all of us going to St. Cloud in two cars and everyone's lists at some unGod hour of the morning to get all those "day after Thanksgiving" deals. After a few hours, we'd reconvene at my sister in Princeton's home to recon and see how we all did.Cleaning and laundry. I went shopping in St. Cloud with my best friend yesterday, so it’s catch up day today. Hubby is getting ready to attempt soybeans. I hope it goes. I can’t wait until harvest is done!
How about you?
I'm trying to get ours down to manageable as every year, the weeds take over. I found these white plastic 55-gallon drums on Marketplace and we bought 10 of them. Hubby cut the top 1/3 off half of them for me. We filled the bottom with empty milk cartons, then dirt and compost and stuck a tomato in each one of 4, and 3 pepper plants in the 5th. That's my garden. I can keep the weeds out of that much at least. He does love it, but our last two summers have been brutal. He hates watering 2x a day.
